The present tense in Spanish is used to describe something that is happening currently in the present. To do so, take out the “er/ir” and replace with the following conjugations:

ER: Usually conjugated as, -o,-es,-e,-emos,-en

Children often mumble and slur their words, so if you are not a Spanish speaker, try to catch key words to get context clues.

If the children become noisy or unfocused, try to get the attention again by using words like: "Escuchen" (listen), "Silencio" (silent), or you can count down "Cinco, cuatro, tres, dos, uno"
