Conditional Tense

Conditional Tense:

  • The conditional tense in Spanish is used to present a future possibility or “could” statement.

  • It is brought about by some form of “-ía” to the end of the infinitive form of a verb

  • Conjugations for the conditional tense do not change based on -AR,-ER, or -IR verbs. However, there are a lot of irregular verbs that do not follow the conjugation pattern.
